Core mechanism: activates hTERT / telomerase to maintain telomere length; epigenetic nuclear gene modulation; modulates pineal‑melatonin axis and circadian rhythm; exerts antioxidant, DNA‑repairing and geroprotective effects.
It is the synthetic active fragment derived from bovine pineal gland extract Epithalamin. Endogenous related peptide level declines with aging.
